At the Centre for Advanced Training and Research (CATR), we firmly believe that education, innovation, and research are the most powerful drivers of societal and technological transformation. Since its inception, CATR has been established with a clear vision to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world applications by providing high-quality, accessible, and industry-oriented training and research opportunities. CATR is a Government of India registered institution and is ISO-certified under the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), reflecting our commitment to quality, credibility, and compliance with internationally recognized standards.
In today’s rapidly evolving scientific and technological landscape, interdisciplinary knowledge has become essential. At CATR, we are committed to nurturing talent across diverse domains including biological sciences and medical sciences, bioinformatics, drug design, artificial intelligence and machine learning, engineering disciplines such as renewable energy, electrical engineering, and advanced computer science applications. Message from The Director
I am delighted to welcome you to the Centre for Advanced Training and Research (CATR), a platform dedicated to fostering knowledge, innovation, and research excellence. At CATR, our primary focus is to empower students, researchers, and professionals by providing transformative learning experiences that align with current scientific advancements and industry demands.
Our training programs, workshops, and seasonal initiatives including summer and winter training are structured to offer a strong blend of theoretical foundations and hands-on exposure. We emphasize skill-based learning in emerging and high-impact fields such as biological sciences, medical sciences and engineering. Each program is delivered by experienced resource persons with a strong commitment to mentoring and practical guidance.
Beyond training, CATR actively contributes to research advancement through contractual research services including wet laboratory and in-vitro research project consultancy, and academic mentoring across the domains of biotechnology, biological sciences, engineering, and technology. We support students, researchers, and professionals in PhD research work, thesis development, scientific writing, and high-quality publications.
